Our program requires a pair to attend the program, made up of a senior official
and a high-potential woman leader*. The senior official must complete this
application. Once accepted, the senior official will confirm their
accompanying high-potential woman leader*.
Our definitions of Senior Official and High Potential
Leader are as follows:
Senior Official
A senior official is a leader with significant responsibility for shaping
organisational strategy, policy, regulation, or institutional performance.
Typically, they hold a senior management, executive, director-level, deputy
governor, governor, commissioner, or equivalent position and have authority to
make decisions, influence organisational priorities, and sponsor the
development of future leaders. The senior official is the primary applicant and
is responsible for nominating their accompanying high-potential woman leader.
High-Potential Woman Leader
A high-potential woman leader is a talented professional who has demonstrated
strong leadership capability and is considered capable of taking on
significantly greater responsibility in the future. She may currently hold a
management, technical, policy, supervisory, or specialist role but is not yet
at the same level of organisational authority as the accompanying senior
official. The programme is designed to accelerate her leadership development
and strengthen her readiness for more senior roles.
Senior official applicant eligibility: You must be a senior official from a central
bank, regulatory institution, supervisory institution, ministry (such as
inclusion, women, telecommunications, or other), or other government entity in
an emerging market.
