Senior Official Eligibility Criteria:

  • Executives, Deputy Governors and Senior Officials from central banks and other financial regulatory agencies (e.g. banking, insurance, microfinance, pensions, etc.) in the emerging markets.
  • Part of executive/senior management team or leads a regulatory division.
  • Commitment to development of gender-inclusive policy.
  • Ability to commit to a 12-week long program with multiple virtual live-online touchpoints.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.

Program Costs:

Non-members of the Alliance for Financial Inclusion USD 7,000
Members of the Alliance for Financial Inclusion: USD 5,000

Includes tuition for two participants per institution (senior official participant and high-potential woman leader), course material, virtual touchpoints, and executive coaching sessions for senior officials.


Full scholarships are available.


Instructions:

  1. Application must be completed fully by the senior official participant requesting admission to the program and include the name of the high-potential woman leader they are sponsoring. 
  2. Please answer "Not Applicable" where data is not available.
  3. Application should take approximately 10 minutes to complete.
  4. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until the application deadline.
  5. Only completed applications will be considered.

V. Criteria for Selecting a Woman Leader
Each participant is required to nominate one high-potential woman leader from their organization to join the Program. The Senior official also commits to a minimum one-year sponsorship relationship with their nominee.  

Selection Criteria:

·              Mid-level professional (5-10 years of experience)

·              Regarded as “high potential” and is a key contributor to the institution

·              Capable of being promoted to the next level of leadership or broadening their role significantly

·              Has demonstrated the ability to lead people in the organization

·              Motivated to take on new leadership challenges and opportunities

We will guarantee that each senior official can attend along with one high-potential woman leader. Additional high-potential leaders may be invited to attend, should space in the program be available. 



Acceptance:

The Admission Committee will review all applications on a rolling basis. Only accepted applicants will be notified of admission. Once your application has been approved, you will be sent additional information to register for the program. Space in the program is limited, early applications are encouraged.

Cancellation Policy: 

Upon accepting your application, Women’s World Banking will issue an invoice. Payment is due within 30 days of the invoice date in order to retain your place. Cancellations must be submitted in writing up to 30 days prior to the start of the program to receive a full refund. Cancellations received less than 30 days prior to the start of the program will be subject to full payment.
