Eligibility:

  • Senior officials (sponsors)
    • Executives, Deputy Governors and Senior Officials from central banks and other financial regulatory agencies (e.g. banking, insurance, microfinance, pensions, etc.) in Sub-Saharan Africa
    • Part of executive/senior management team or leads a regulatory division
    • High level of influence within the institution
    • Commitment to development of gender-diverse talent
    • Agree to sponsor/mentor high-potential woman leader participant for minimum of 6 months following program
  • High-potential women leaders
    • Mid-level professional, ~10 years of experience
    • Capable of being promoted to the next level of leadership or broadening role significantly
    • Has demonstrated the ability to lead people in the organization
    • Motivated to take on new leadership challenges and opportunities
    • People managers preferred but not required
  • Both
    • Ability to commit to full 5-week long program and attend multiple virtual live-online touchpoints
    • Ability to commit to sponsorship relationship for minimum of 6 months
    • Proficiency in written and spoken English

Program Costs:

USD 2,000

Includes tuition for two participants per institution (senior-level sponsor and high-potential woman). If your institution would like to send additional pairs, please contact leadershipadmissions@womensworldbanking.org for special organization-wide pricing.

Instructions:

  1. Please complete one application per pair (senior-level sponsor & high-potential woman leader).
  2. The application should take approximately 10 minutes to complete.
  3. Completed applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
  4. Only completed applications will be considered.

Acceptance:

The Admission Committee will review all applications on a rolling basis. Only accepted applicants will be notified of admission. Once your application has been approved, you will be sent additional information to register for the course. Space in the program is limited.

Cancellation Policy: 

Upon accepting your application, Women’s World Banking will issue an invoice. Payment is due within 30 days of the invoice date in order to retain your place. Cancellations must be submitted in writing up to 30 days prior to the start of the program to receive a full refund. Cancellations received less than 30 days prior to the start of the Program will be subject to full payment.
