Solution

The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has exposed the particular vulnerability of unbanked and underserved women to global shocks. While the pandemic has accelerated the digitization of financial services, women are at risk of being left behind given the unique barriers they face to adoption and usage of digital technology. Combined with broader inequalities surrounding vaccine distribution, and rising female unemployment, there is a greater need than ever before to ensure that we build back stronger towards a more equal world.


In light of this, we would like Fintech applicants to frame their solution in the context of helping women build resilience and recover in the face of these global economic inequalities.
